Kim Kardashian has responded to the allegations against her ex-husband Kanye West who has been accused of sexual harassment by his former assistant.

A former employee, Lauren Pisciotta, who worked for West, also known as Ye, 46, between 2021 and 2022 is suing the artist.

The former assistant has claimed that she was sent a series of inappropriate messages, sexual videos and photos, and the rapper would masturbate while on the phone to her.

In response to the lawsuit, a person close to West’s ex-wife Kim, 43, has revealed that she is ‘hoping it isn’t true’.

‘As a woman and as a mother of two young girls, to hear about these allegations of sexual harassment is demoralising for Kim,’ an insider close to the Skims business owner told Daily Mail.

‘She has had to deal with his racist rants, his mental health concerns, his porn venture, and everything else. She is frustrated.

‘She is hoping it isn’t true, but if it ends up being true, she will deal with it as much as she can behind closed doors,’ they continued.

‘She is disappointed with the man she was once in love with. He is the father of her kids and that will never change and goes a long way, but to deal with all this extra nonsense is as trying as one would expect.

‘She is not happy that she is having to deal with something Kanye does day in and day out.’

Kim and West were married between 2014 and 2022. They have four children together, North, 10, Saint, eight, Chicago six, and Psalm, four.

Since their divorce, they have put on a united front for their children. Kim has been seen attending West’s music performances with her children and both parents attended the Lion King anniversary at the Hollywood Bowl as their daughter North West performed on stage.

The recent accusations against the Bound 2 singer suggest that he asked his former assistant to stop using OnlyFans and was available to him 24/7 and was offered a $1million (£780,000) a year salary for agreeing.

In October 2022, Pisciotta says she was fired and offered $3m (£2.35m) severance, which she accepted but didn’t ever receive.

She is suing for not only sexual harassment but breach of contract, wrongful termination and a hostile work environment.

This lawsuit follows another as it was revealed a month ago West was being sued for racial discrimination by a former security guard, who said the artist gave Black employees ‘less favourable treatment than their White counterparts.’

It also follows criticism of his relationship with his wife Bianca Cesori. The two were spotted appearing to have inappropriate relations on a canal boat in Italy, and Bianca’s nude fashion choices have led to criticism that West is humiliating her.
