Patti LuPone is not one to mince words, and she took yet another opportunity to bash the acting skills of both Kim Kardashian and Madonna.
The 75-year-old three-time Tony Award winner was participating in a Hot Ones Versus interview with Aubrey Plaza, which debuted on Tuesday.
Instead of traditional Hot Ones host Sean Evans asking questions, they were each given a series of questions to answer… or eat a flaming hot wing instead.
Plaza, 40, referenced a 2017 episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live where she called Madonna ‘a terrible actress’ and a ‘movie killer.’
Lupone was told to, ‘look into the camera and apologize to the pop icon or eat a death wing,’ and Lupone immediately ate a wing… while taking a parting shot at Kardashian too.
‘I f***ing knew it,’ Plaza said as LuPone looked into the camera and at the wing before tossing it towards the camera.
When Plaza asked what tasting the wing felt like LuPone just shrugged as Plaza joked that she’s, ‘dead inside,’ as LuPone took a swig of beer.
LuPone elaborated on Madonna, ‘I saw her. I’ve seen her on stage and I’ve seen her in a movie and I went… oh, OK.’
She added, ‘You know, some things some people just can’t do and you just gotta admit you can’t do it, that’s all, or don’t even try,’ before taking a dig at Kardashian.
‘Everybody can’t do everything… like Kim f***ing Kardashian, OK? Can we go there? Or shall I eat a wing?’ LuPone said with a laugh, as Plaza repeated, ‘I love you.’
Back in April 2023, just after it was announced that Kardashian was starring in the new season of FX’s American Horror Story, LuPone was on Watch What Happens Live again, this time with John Leguizamo.
They both played a game host Andy Cohen called, ‘Do You Give A Damn?’ where they’re asked if they care about a variety of current events.
When asked if she gives a damn that Kardashian was cast in American Horror Story, LuPone angrily said, ‘Yes I do.’
Cohen added, ‘You don’t like it, do you?’ LuPone insisted, ‘No, I don’t,’ because her role was taking a job away from a legit trained actor.
‘Excuse me, Kim, you know, what are you doing with your life? Don’t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington,’ LuPone said.
The Mrs. Worthington reference was from a 1935 Noel Coward song about a mother trying to get her daughter into acting.
