AMERICAN Angelina Jolie and son Maddox attended a reception hosted by President Joe Biden during the visit of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.

According to People , on April 26, Jolie and her son were guests at President Joe Biden’s state dinner welcoming President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee. The star chose an old Chanel dress – designed for her many years ago. Son Maddox wore a black suit, a matching tie and a white shirt.

A source close to the actress said: “The relationship between the US and Asian countries is very important to the Jolie family. She and her children have been closely involved in this region for many years, including Korea. Maddox is currently studying at Yonsei University in Seoul. For two decades, Jolie has also often visited here on humanitarian programs and immigrant support.”

Angie last visited South Korea in 2019, when she took her son Maddox to Seoul to enroll in school. In 2018, she attended an event for immigrants in the country under a program organized by the United Nations.

The party, which was a celebration of 70 years of U.S.-South Korean relations, had about 200 guests. Other celebrities in attendance included TV stars Chip & Joanna Gaines and snowboarder Chloe Kim.

Maddox, born in 2001 in Cambodia, was adopted by Angelina Jolie when he was only seven months old. While dating Jolie, Brad Pitt also adopted him. In 2016, the star filed for divorce, many rumors said that Brad Pitt beat Maddox on a private flight. Angelina Jolie did not want Brad Pitt to be a bad influence on the children and chose to break up.
